Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer — the three simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Two online QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Trainings will be held this month: Tuesday, May 7 and Friday, May 17, both at 6:30 p.m. Click on the date to register. People trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year thousands of Americans, like you, are saying "Yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, family member or neighbor. QPR can be learned in this Gatekeeper course in as little as one hour. Sign up today to help save lives.
Stanford Research Study: "The aim of this study is to inform how behavioral sleep treatments can be adapted to better meet the needs of family caregivers who experience sleep challenges while providing support to a family member with serious mental illness.
We will use the contact information you provide below to reach out about scheduling a time to meet via video visit. At this meeting, we will provide you with more information, answer your questions, and ask questions that will help us determine your eligibility to participate in this study. If you qualify, you will be invited to complete questionnaires and participate in a one-time focus group. Focus groups will be held via Zoom videoconference, approximately 1 hour in length, and securely video recorded to allow for transcription of audio by the study team." More information
